Small pocket book with useful saying in Balinese. Helpful for traveling.
More detail than I wanted for a three week stay. Interesting but not easy to use as a travelers phrase book.
I've been to Bali 3 times and it is still hard to follow. It should have better pronounciations.I did better with the Indonesian book, rather than this one too, as everyone speaks indonesian and you don't offend someone speaking the wrong castes.Also, these books would be nicer if they had practical sentence examples rather than the ones they have on here, also, it would help to include example ANSWERS Too! :)
very hard to understand for the average joe
I am giving this phrasebook 5 stars because of the value. It is super cheap and super small but still manages to have all the info you would need to go to Bali. It's true that it doesn't have complete examples, grammar rules, etc. But it is not meant to be a textbook. It is a phrasebook only and in that, it is more than sufficient.
