I watched the movie first which I usually don’t do, I always read the books first. But on this occasion I did watch the movie knowing that I was gonna like it before even watching it. Turns out I ended up loving it and as soon as the movie ended I pulled out my phone and ordered the book set series immediately lol which I never done before. And it was so worth it, these books are a good read, totally recommended!!!!

I enjoyed this series so much! I went through one book just as fast as the other because I couldn't stop reading once I started. The characters drew me in from the start, and they were characters that I truly cared for and vested in. I felt as if I was there with everyone in every scene and situation as it should be with good writing. These books did not disappoint and I even tweeted the author to tell her so. She tweeted back that she really glad that I was enjoying them so much! I truly appreciate her creativity for this world and I told her so.. Lol I think this is the longest review I've ever written seeing as how I don't usually write them but depend on them from others, odd I know.

I started this series with the latest book. Of course, I had to go back and buy the whole set. while the movie really didn't do the story justice, I was captured from beginning to end, I would recommend this series as well as this collection because it includes all the extra material including short stories and novellas.

I glanced at the cover of this book, saw it had good reviews, and made a hasty purchase, having just bought an Instant Pot and being eager to try it out. I assumed it consisted of 500 recipes and admittedly did not read any fine print. Well, guess how many recipes are actually in here? 43. Yep. About half of what I can find in a magazine. What's the 500 reference? Well the author took those 43 recipes and made as many combinations as mathematically possible for various daily meal plans. Guess how many that turned out to be? Yep. It is on it's way back to Amazon. Lesson learned!

Loved the movie which is what made me buy the box set. The books are so good! If you liked the movie I suggest reading the books, they have so many details that the movie missed.

My 12 yr old son loved these. Thanked me several times for buying the set. He has to read for school everyday and these certainly made it fun and not a chore. He breezed right through the set and now I’m off to look for a new series for him.

Ruby is the most unlikable character I've ever read. How can anyone be so insecure and afraid of what people will think? I wish I hadn't bought the set because I don't know if I can continue. If Ruby doesn't stop assuming everyone is going to hate her then I can't stand to read one more page. It was such a drag having to read her inner dialogues and if she apologizes anymore I'm going to scream. Then you have Lee who is the typical boy next door, hero type and Chubs the brooder. Boring. Then was it any surprise that their Eden fell short? Nope. Book was totally predictable throughout. If I find it in me to read the 2nd book and it gets better I'll update my review. Not sure I want to waste anymore time on these.

Quick replacement, very happy.
