great story
My 4 year old LOVED the idea of having a peep around to help the Easter bunny! Comes with a great book too!
My daughter loves our Elf on the Shelf and this Peep on a Perch follows the same concept so she is thrilled to have this for Easter season. You get a soft plush yellow peep that is about 4 1/2" tall and a beautifully illustrated book. I've included a few photos of the pages since at this time there is no book preview for it. The book explains that the Easter Bunny needs help to watch all the children to see who is being good, kind, and helpful and so the Peep on a Perch's job is to do this and the kinder you are, the happier your peep is. Unlike the Elf on a Shelf, the kids are allowed to touch the peep and move it room to room to watch them do good deeds. The book also mentions that if you do a really good job, the Easter Bunny may leave you an extra present in your Easter basket or a special egg. The idea of doing good deeds for others is really great and this encourages it in a fun way. My daughter really likes the book and we've read it several times already.This is cheaper currently on Amazon ($14.47) than in local retail stores that are selling it for $25. Certainly not worth $25, but at the lower price it's worth it. Overall, this is a fun idea for the Easter season for the whole family!
My kids love this and unlike elf on the shelf you can touch it so no more shenanigans if you don’t want them but if you do then the opportunity is there. Story is all about being nice to each other and so far it’s been a big motivator for the kids (haha)
This book is a godsend for busy parents. Too much going on to remind your children to fear an all-seeing authority? Not enough hours in the day to make sure they know they're always being watched? Now you can enlist the Peep's help! Molding conforming citizens has never been easier.
Peep on a Perch is a cute take on Elf on a Shelf and the book comes boxed with a plush yellow Peep. The book encourages children to help, share and be kind as the Peep reports directly to the Easter Bunny. The book hints that children who are good might get an extra treat or colored egg in their basket. Sophia took to this idea immediately, but also enjoying spotting the peep throughout the book. One page featuring the family at dinner didn’t have the Peep perched anywhere and this was quite distressing. We’ve read the story several times, and while we haven’t done anything to encourage that the Peep is watching, she has taken to doing random chores within its sight. The pages are beautifully illustrated and feature the Peep logo prominently. All in all, this was a cute Easter book.
The peep is an undercover agent for the NSA and ICE.
