A well-researched book that is rich with real life examples of how cybersecurity is affecting our daily lives both at home and in the workplace. This book is not only reserved for technical IT people but can easily resonate with a laymen interested in knowing more about the impact of cybersecurity on society.May favourite chapter was “Baking CYBERSECURITY into innovative programs†where the author discusses the security challenges enterprises face when deploying emerging technologies like IoT (Internet of Things), Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Interesting examples of these were the CIA developing a tool to remotely hack Samsung Smart TVs and Microsoft’s blunder in developing an AI robot, called Tay ,that ended up sending wildly inappropriate messages on social media.
A good read giving a current overview of cybersecurity threats and risks. Also, the author offers a good five step remediation plan. Contains good ideas. Worth reading.
Love the way the book is written, must read.
