Extremely powerful read, I can't seem to get enough of these books. Very clean, shows faith, love , trust and family.
This was an intense and great book to read. Made me cry, so real to what actually happens in life. Great writing Sandra, keep up great writing!
Could not put down
Ah man. This is a tough one. This is one read that is definitely a heartbreaker. I know, I know! Yes, I admit it, I cried. Its such a touching tale that brings an extreme evil to light. Well, more than one actually. Its a short, fast read with heartbreaking and gut wretching occurances. This is a true testing of faith in such a profound way. Whats that saying "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"? I think this is a true testament to that. The characters and scenes are realistic and on point. It was hard witnessing the journey this family had to endure. Yeah, I said that. Sandra dropped a bomb in this one that really catches your attention in way you weren't expecting. Talk about twists and surprises around every corner. Man, thats an understatement. I don't know what gave Sandra the inspiration for this particular storyline. If it was personal experience I'm not sure where she gathered the strength to write it. This is one read that grabs your attention and holds you captive until the last word. Grab you some tissue when you get your copy. Cry you will. Remarkable job Sandra. Thanks for sharing.I received an ARC copy for this story.
5 starsI received a free copy of The Worried Mother by Sandra Becker and this review was given freely.This third installment in the series features Miriam and David's joy and struggles with their children approximately 10 years after The Jealous Husband. Stealing, cancer, bullying, kidnapping and human trafficking are featured in this poignant novella with a happy ending. This story is a strong witness for prayer and the love that can be found from both God and the community.
A mother worries about her family. Her daughter slowly becomes weaker as the family parts for her especially after a trip to the English doctor.
